“In a small area, Kaitlyn managed to make different 'scenes’ in our photos.

Using the changing fall colours, some backdrops were colourful, others muted and relaxing. She has an eye for detail and giving variety!

I loved the process of shooting in our different locations around Bow Lake, and loved the small picnic we had. I enjoyed the 10 mins of quiet time, just my new husband and I to take deep breaths and be in the moment, really appreciating our special day.

“Its really enjoyable to look back at my elopement photos and actually look happy. My smile is natural and not forced.

It was so cold on the mountain, and when we first hiked up we were all warm in our winter gear, and I remember taking off my jacket and there was people walking by saying “wow you walked up in a dress, you must be freezing!” But it was just so much fun. I couldn’t stop smiling.

“It felt like we just went for a stroll in the woods, stopping to take some photos where the scenery looked beautiful (which Kaitlyn had also previously scouted out).

All of our photos just look like we are having a good time, laughing at something the other person said, and just happy to be together. It is a testament to how comfortable we felt around Kaitlyn and her ability to capture those special moments.
