SCOTLAND ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
PACKAGES & PRICING
For couples who want a wedding day that feels real, wild, and just a little enchanted
There's something about Scotland that makes you believe in magic again…
Not just because of the castles or the cliffs. Though, those definitely don’t hurt.
It’s the way the place feels.
Like the air is holding on to legends. Like the landscape knows things. Like you’ve somehow stepped into the kind of love story that belongs in an annotated paperback.
They even say if you dip your face into Scotland's waters and make a wish, the fairies might just hear you.
Can’t say I know if it’s true—but when you see yourselves out here, completely wrapped up in the moment, hair a mess, heart wide open?
You’ll swear something otherworldly is going on.
There’s always this one second…
Usually when the mist parts just enough to frame you both against a centuries-old arch or the sun hits the glen just right…
You look at each other, really look. Your chest tightens. Your brain goes quiet.
Holy sh*t. This is real.
And that’s what I’m here for.
Not just the epic views, but that feeling. Those goosebump-inducing, can’t-believe-this-is-real moments.
The in-between stuff. The soft stuff. The kind of moments that feel bigger than the both of you but somehow more you than ever.
Because yeah, this might not be a big wedding.
But it’s still a big damn day.
And you deserve to feel every second of it.
Because yeah, you deserve to relive it. Forever.

I'm not just your elopement photographer. I'm your Scotland accomplice.
I’m here to help you make it all happen.
Fog, fairies, and all.
I’ve spent years chasing light through the Highlands, finding castle ruins that hit just the right kind of moody, and scouting trails that open up to stop-you-mid-sentence views.
I know which spots stay quiet even in summer, which ones are better wrapped in mist, and how to read a Scottish weather app (aka, with low expectations and good backup plans). I’ll help you sort out your permits, prep for whatever the skies throw at us, and track down the coziest pub to celebrate in when the I do’s are said.
Whether you want to wander under the trees at The Hermitage, say your vows beside a still loch in Glencoe, or hike up to the Quiraing at sunrise with messy hair and muddy boots. I’m here to help you do it your way.
WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH EVERY ELOPEMENT:

YOU WANT A MOMENT LIKE THIS ONE
“Kaitlyn provided us with so much helpful information beyond just what we were going to do for our photos that it felt like we had gotten her to be our elopement planner as a bonus.
She helped us get organized with our paperwork, had recommendations for places to stay the night of our elopement, provided recommendations for celebrants, and had lists of items and equipment to bring on our elopement day that we never would have thought of without her help. She put together several beautiful and incredibly helpful guides as we approached our elopement that were the primary resources we ended up using to plan our big day.
Choosing Kaitlyn to be our photographer was arguably the single best decision we made for our elopement. She’s like the person in a group project who will make sure everyone gets an A+ but is also someone you would want to go grab a drink with when it's all done.”

HOW I HELP YOU BRING YOUR DREAM SCOTTISH ELOPEMENT TO LIFE
(Without the stress, the spreadsheets, or the endless Pinterest scrolls.)
/ First, you tell me everything:
Fill out my inquiry form and spill the tea. How you met, the proposal, what you’re dreaming up, the vibes, the views, all of it. From there, we’ll hop on a call to see if we’re a good fit (spoiler: probably yes).
/ I send over the good stuff:
Once we’re official, you’ll get my Scotland Elopement Guide. This is not a generic PDF. Think secret spots, hand-picked vendor recs, travel tips, timelines, and all the behind-the-scenes magic that you won't find on Reddit. We'll collaborate on everything from the perfect loch to the tastiest post-ceremony meal.
/ We plan your day, your way:
From ideal ceremony times to backup plans (hello, Scottish weather), I’ll help you build a day that flows naturally and feels totally you. I’ll coordinate with vendors, create a custom timeline, and send you a personalized logistics guide so you know exactly what’s happening and when.
/ You say “I Do”. I capture it all:
We meet at your chosen spot. You explore, vow, and soak it all in. I’ll be there, quietly documenting every bit of it. From the nervous glances to the ugly-crying (the good kind) to the "holy crap we just got married" grins. Expect to laugh a lot, maybe cry a little, and definitely have moments where you forget I'm even there.
/ The magic lives on:
Within 3-5 days, I’ll deliver a sneak peek gallery, so you can relive your day and share it with the people you love. Your full gallery will follow, filled with honest, emotional, artful photos you’ll never want to stop looking at.
Add a Boudoir Session to Your Elopement Experience
Because this is about celebrating all the sides of your love.
The cozy
The wild
The for your eyes only.
If you’re curious, let’s talk.

“We still talk about how unbelievable the location was. It completely blew our expectations away, and we never would have found it if Kaitlyn had not given us the recommendation.
Kaitlyn gave us the recommendation for our elopement location (The Hermitage in Scotland), and it was absolutely perfect -- we were able to get photos in the woods, by a river, near a stunning waterfall with rocky cliffs, and with some beautiful stone architecture around the forest. Jess and I still talk about how unbelievable it was and how it completely blew our expectations away, and we never would have found it if Kaitlyn had not given us the recommendation.
Choosing Kaitlyn to be our photographer was arguably the single best decision we made for our elopement. She’s like the person in a group project who will make sure everyone gets an A+ but is also someone you would want to go grab a drink with when it's all done.”

Don’t see exactly what you need? Or have a vision in your head that doesn’t quite fit the boxes?
Let’s chat and plan your dream Scotland elopement together.
HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT SCOTLAND ELOPEMENTS?
-
Most couples book 6-12 months out, but I sometimes have last-minute spots. If your date’s still up in the air, reach out anyway and we’ll chat availability.
-
May to October is your best bet for weather that (mostly) cooperates and easier access to remote spots. Spring means wildflowers and softer light, summer has longer days, and autumn? Peak moody magic.
But honestly, if you’re into misty mornings, fog-draped hills, and cozy vibes, Scotland’s off-season is seriously underrated. Just pack layers.
-
Some spots, yes. Others, nope. I’ll do the research and walk you through the details so you're not stuck Googling “do I need a permit to say vows on a cliff?”
-
You do, and honestly, it’s easier than you’d think. Scotland makes it pretty simple for international couples. You’ll need to submit paperwork at least 29 days before your ceremony, but you don’t have to be a resident. I’ll guide you through exactly what you need and how to get it done.
-
Absolutely. I’ve got a trusted list of Scotland-based creatives who are thoughtful, talented, and totally aligned with this vibe. Florists, celebrants, hair and makeup, we’ll get you set up with the dream team.
-
Because I'm not interested in giving you 15 versions of the same pose with slightly different angles. I want every image in your gallery to make you feel something.
These photos take time to create, to edit, and to perfect. I’d rather give you a smaller set of images you’re obsessed with than hundreds you’ll never print.
-
You bet. Whether you want to wake up in a centuries-old castle that feels like it’s straight out of a storybook, cozy up in a Highland cottage where the fireplace is always crackling, or sip your morning coffee in a lodge with views that make you stop mid-sip, I’ve got recommendations.
Let me know what kind of vibe you’re after and I’ll help you find a place that feels like you.
-
Scotland and rain? A love story. But don’t worry, I’ve got backup plans, flexible timelines, and a whole lot of experience embracing the weather. Some of my favourite photos ever were taken in the rain. Think mist, mood, and windblown romance.
-
Definitely. From where to fly into, how to rent a car (driving on the left side is half the fun), to cozy places to stay near your elopement spot, I’ve got you covered with travel tips and personal recs.
-
Most couples start with the 4-hour package (aka The Short Story) and upgrade as we talk through the timeline, locations, and your vision for the day. Sometimes a few hours is all you need. Sometimes you realize you want time for slow mornings, extra portraits, or an unhurried hike—and we build from there.
-
If you’re leaning toward a longer day, I always recommend chatting through it together before locking anything in. You can absolutely start with a smaller package and upgrade once we’ve mapped things out. No pressure, no stress.
-
NOT SURE WHERE TO START?
Eloping feels exciting, but overwhelming. You're thinking, Where the heck do we go? What’s legal? Do we need permits for those jaw-dropping Highland backdrops? And is a photographer enough, or should we hire a planner too?
