Canmore has a great selection of breweries right in town. I’ve created this guide to Canmore breweries so you know exactly where to visit first! But let’s be real, it’s worth checking them all out!

CANMORE BREWING COMPANY

Canmore Brewing Company is a must stop if you’re looking for great local beers. Their brewery is family friendly and available for tours. In addition to their regular line up, they have seasonal beers too. And even though they don’t have a food menu, they have a few snack items from local bakeries. They also invite their guests to order take out and enjoy it at their table.

  • No kitchen, but can bring in take out

GRIZZLY PAW PUB & BREWING COMPANY

The Grizzly Paw has called Canmore it’s home for over twenty years. It boasts panoramic views of the most famous peaks in Kananaskis - The Three Sisters, Ha Ling Peak, and Mt. Rundle. Enjoy these views from their restaurant or 3rd floor patio. There are multiple locations with different menus, so be sure to plan ahead!

SHEEPDOG BREWING

Another family friendly brewery. But they’re also dog friendly! On Fridays and Saturdays during the winter, your furry friend is welcomed to keep you company while you enjoy a few cold pints. If that doesn’t have you sold on this place - I don’t know what will! They have a large beer menu that changes frequently and snacks to order. If you’re in the mood for a larger meal, you’re welcomed to order take out and enjoy it at your table.

BLAKE BREWHOUSE & DISTILLERY

To make sure they were serving beers that complimented their menu, Blake started their own onsite brewery. So if you enjoy matching what you drink to what you eat, Blake is the perfect restaurant and brewery for you! They might even brew a custom beer for your special event. In addition to craft beer, this location also creates vodka and rum.
