Jen + Mike | A rainy June day elopement in Kananaskis

Jen and Mike, a lovely couple from Minnesota, chose to elope in the breathtaking Kananaskis region. Despite the rainy weather, their special day was nothing short of enchanting. Originally planning a hiking elopement, we adapted to the conditions and selected a picturesque location with less hiking.

Their ceremony took place in front of a stunning turquoise blue lake, surrounded by their children and closest friends. The rain couldn't dampen their spirits as their vows were filled with love and laughter. The overcast sky and gentle rain added a romantic, ethereal quality to the photos.

After the heartfelt ceremony, we took a short walk to capture some portraits against the majestic mountain backdrop. Despite the rain, everyone was smiling and laughing, creating a joyful and memorable atmosphere.

Even with a severe broken toe, I was determined to document every moment of Jen and Mike's elopement. Their love and happiness made every step worth it.
