WHERE TO STAY - AREAS
Canmore
Canmore is the gateway to Kananaskis and the Canadian Rocky Mountain National Parks. Due to its location it sees visitors that are touring both Kananaskis and Banff National Park. Canmore is where you should stay if you’re in search of good food, drinks, and shopping between hiking days. There’s a lot of charm in this community to make you feel right at home and entertained for your entire visit.

If you’re wanting to incorporate Banff into your vacation plans, keep in mind that Canmore is ~25km drive away from the Town of Banff
Kananaskis Village
Kananaskis Village is a small community created to host visitors to the park. The community is home to many lodges/hotels, parks, recreational facilities, the Nordic Spa, and trails with viewpoints. Kananaskis Village is the area for you if you want to stay in the heart of Kananaskis and get away from the hustle and bustle of busy towns.

Kananaskis may not be as popular as Banff, but it sure doesn’t mean you can’t have a luxury mountain stay here! Having a luxury experience in the mountains is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s not just a place to sleep and store your luggage.
