WHAT IS BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY?
Boudoir photography is a style of intimate photography that captures the beauty, confidence, and sensuality of the subject in a tasteful and artistic way. It's often done as a gift to oneself or a significant other.

DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?
Absolutely not! Most clients have never done a boudoir session before. I’ll guide you through poses and make sure you feel comfortable and confident.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY BOUDOIR SESSION?
You can wear anything that makes you feel sexy and confident. Popular choices include lingerie, bodysuits, an oversized sweater, or even nothing at all. I’m happy to discuss wardrobe ideas with you ahead of time. We’ll most likely have time to photograph you in 2-3 outfits.

DO YOU PROVIDE HAIR AND MAKEUP SERVICES?
Yes. Hair and makeup is available to add on to your session for an additional fee. I work with professional hair and makeup artists who can help you look and feel your best for your session.

HOW LONG DOES A BOUDOIR SESSION LAST?
A typical boudoir session lasts 1 hour. However, if you’ve added on hair and makeup, please account for an additional 1.5 to 2 hours to your session time.

WILL MY PHOTOS BE SHARED ONLINE?
Your privacy is my top priority. I only share images with your permission. You’ll state your privacy preferences on your contract.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND TO MY SESSION?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring a friend if it helps you feel more comfortable and relaxed. However, please keep it to one friend only so that the studio doesn’t get crowded or create too many distractions.

WHAT IF I FEEL NERVOUS OR SELF-CONSCIOUS?
Feeling nervous is completely normal! My goal is to make you feel at ease. We’ll take our time, play some of your favorite music, and I’ll guide you through each step of the session.

CAN I DO A BOUDOIR SESSION IF I’M NOT A MODEL OR DON’T HAVE A “MODEL BODY”?
Boudoir is for everyone, regardless of age, shape, or size. The session is about celebrating your unique beauty and confidence. You’re gorgeous and worthy no matter what your shape and size is!

HOW MUCH RETOUCHING DO YOU DO?
I offer light retouching to enhance your natural beauty, such as skin smoothing and blemish removal. If you have any specific requests, please ask and we’ll discuss what’s possible and what isn’t.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY BOUDOIR SESSION?
It’s best to book your session at least 4-6 weeks in advance, especially if you need the photos by a specific date.

DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS OR PRINTS?
Yes, I offer a variety of beautiful, high-quality albums and prints that you can order after your session.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOUDOIR AND GLAMOUR PHOTOGRAPHY?
Boudoir focuses on intimacy and sensuality, often with more revealing outfits, while glamour photography is about creating polished, stylish portraits with a more fashion-oriented feel.

While most couples boudoir sessions are for romantic partners, they can also be a beautiful way to capture the bond between close friends in a tasteful and artistic manner.

WHAT KIND OF THEMES CAN I CHOOSE FOR MY SESSION?
The possibilities are endless! Popular themes include fairytales like Sleeping Beauty, mermaids, goddesses, characters from your favourite book, or even creating a completely unique fantasy world. We can work together to design a theme that fits your vision.

DO I NEED TO PROVIDE MY OWN COSTUME AND PROPS?
You’re welcome to bring your own costume and props, but I also have a small selection of items available for use. We’ll discuss your theme in advance so I can help source or suggest the perfect pieces.

Yes, professional hair and makeup are included in the fairytale boudoir collection. I work with artists who specialize in creating fantasy-inspired looks.

CAN I COMBINE A FAIRYTALE/FANTASY THEME WITH A TRADITIONAL BOUDOIR SESSION?
Yes, you can mix traditional boudoir with fantasy elements. We can start with a classic boudoir setup and then transition into your chosen theme for a diverse gallery of images. Please note, these sessions will be an additional fee as we’ll require more shooting time.

WILL YOU HELP WITH POSING AND BRINGING THE CHARACTER TO LIFE?

CAN I DO A FAIRYTALE/FANTASY BOUDOIR SESSION WITH A PARTNER?
Yes, couples can absolutely participate in a fairytale/fantasy session together. We can create a storyline or theme that captures your relationship in a magical way.

WHAT IF I DON’T KNOW WHAT THEME I WANT?
No problem! I’m here to help you brainstorm and choose a theme that resonates with you. We can discuss your interests and personality to find the perfect concept.

IS IT OKAY IF I’M NOT FAMILIAR WITH ACTING OR ROLE-PLAYING?
You don’t need any experience in acting or role-playing. I’ll guide you through the session, helping you step into the character and have fun with the fantasy.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER DOESN’T COOPERATE FOR AN OUTDOOR FANTASY SESSION?
We shoot, rain or shine! However, if the weather is too dangerous to be outside (severe storms, tornado, anything below 15℃, etc.), we can either reschedule or adapt the session for an indoor setting that still fits the theme.
